In tandem with his career as a prominent hydroelectric engineer and project manager, John Nunn has applied his formidable organizational and management skills to community service. For more than 20 years he has filled multiple roles for the Canadian Progress Club, which supports the BC Special Olympics, Big Brothers and many other groups. He prepared financial plans that helped this charitable foundation achieve $1 million in fundraising. John has devoted tireless energy and support to Small Talk, a program for special needs preschool children with language difficulties. Additionally, as a longtime member of his strata council, he has made significant contributions in the areas of bylaws, construction/renovation, and issues resolution. In all of these pursuits John is widely appreciated and admired for his diligence, professionalism and dedication.
