GEOTECHNICAL/GEOLOGICAL ENGINEERS

As a Geotechnical/Geological Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale world-class projects covering civil, geotechnical and geological aspects of design, construction and operations applied in the areas of roads, railways, pipelines, water resource dams, tailing containment and dams, oil and gas facilities and heavy civil infrastructure. This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Work on tasks involving terrain analysis, site investigations, instrumentation installation and monitoring, geohazard risk assessment and control, geo-structure and foundation (deep and shallow) design for facilities, retaining structures and bridges, construction management, and review, design, construction and remediation of water retention facilities
  • Build and develop client relationships
  • Problem solve and find innovative solutions to technical issues
  • Work with multidisciplinary project teams
  • Get exposure to world-class technical challenges and have opportunities to learn from the best in the business

  • Travel within Western Canada, primarily Alberta and British Columbia

 

If you are registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada, have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related Geotechnical or Geological Engineering field and a minimum of 4 to 8 years of related experience in site investigations and characterization, terrain analysis, geohazard assessments, slope stability and seepage analysis, instrumentation, numerical modeling, and foundation design in the municipal, water resources, mining or transportation market sectors, we want to hear from you!
