The Barrowtown Pump Station, built in 1975, is the largest drainage pump station in Western Canada. Klohn Crippen Berger is carrying out a comprehensive review of the entire power and controls system and developing recommendations and budgets for upgrading work Other facility improvements under review include an extension of the trash rake system and tailrace modifications to improve pump efficiency.
