Client: Adanac Moly Corp
Location: Atlin, British Columbia
To assist our client in developing a 20,000 tpd molybdenum mine, we collected baseline environmental and socio-economic data and completed an environmental and social impact assessment. We helped our client submit an application for an Environmental Assessment Certificate and developed a plan to obtain information on the local community’s feelings about the project. We identified potential socio-economic effects of developing the mine and key issues within the local community and First Nation, and developed a socio-economic mitigation and management plan. We facilitated stakeholder consultation by setting up a community liaison committee, hosting open-house sessions, and creating related documentation.
