Klohn Crippen Berger provided geotechnical design and construction monitoring services for a new 30 MW turbo generator and associated structures at a pulp mill in Kamloops, British Columbia. The project included a detailed site investigation, dynamic analysis of the machine foundation and ground improvement design using vibro-replacement
with stone columns. We prepared technical specifications and provided construction monitoring services during the vibro-replacement and earthworks at the turbo generator building.
