Mackenzie Gas Project Pipeline Integrity Management
Project Highlights:

The Mackenzie Gas Project involves a number of pipelines carrying natural gas and gas liquids to southern markets through the Mackenzie River Valley in the Northwest Territories. The major component of the project is a 30-inch natural gas pipeline extending 1220 km from the Mackenzie Delta to the Alberta border. Also included in the project are a natural gas gathering system from the three production fields and a natural gas liquids pipeline from Inuvik to Norman Wells. The Mackenzie Gas Project is the first large-diameter natural gas pipeline in North America to consider frost heave in the design. Klohn Crippen is leading the development of the Pipeline Integrity Management Plan (IMP) for MGP.
