Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB) was requested to investigate terrain and subsurface conditions, as a basis for evaluating the feasibility of directionally boring and/or open cutting proposed and alternate pipeline route alignments.
The project scope included a detailed review of regional and site-specific ground information, a site investigation program and terrain assessment. This river crossing was included as part of the pipeline integrity program and the risk of future maintenance costs were included in the design of the crossing.
