December 3, 2019

Klohn Crippen Berger has been working closely with Ferrovial Canada and Dufferin Construction on the Highway 407 East Phase 2 project in Ontario. Klohn Crippen Berger and our design team members Urban Systems, Ainley Group, and GNEC would like to congratulate Ferrovial and Dufferin for receiving their Substantial Completion Certificate and being the first DBFM project in Ontario to achieve the Substantial Completion ahead of schedule. The Highway 407 East Phase 2 project will extend Highway 407 about 22 kilometres from Oshawa to the Highway 35/115 interchange in Clarington, ON. The project includes the new 10-kilometre Highway 418 that will serve as a north-south freeway to connect Highways 401 and 407 East.
