Historical Review of Geotechnical Engineering in Canada

In 1997, the Canadian Geotechnical Society (CGS) put together a Commemorative Edition of the Geotechnical News. It was published by BiTech Publishers at the time of the Golden Jubilee 50th CGS Annual Conference in Ottawa. This 150-page document is a fantastic resource as it includes articles about early contributors to the geotechnical profession in Canada, including Bob Hardy, Robert Legget, Karl Terzaghi, and Ralph Peck.
The Commemorative Edition was edited by one of KCB's co-founders, Cyril E. Leonoff.
