IEG Joins Klohn Crippen Berger

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - International engineering and environmental consulting firm Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd. has acquired IEG Energy Services Incorporated, inclusive of KBL Land Use Consulting Ltd., an Aboriginal-owned environmental firm based in Alberta.

"We welcome our new employees and their extensive experience, which will enable us to expand our environmental services in Alberta," said Bryan Watts, President & CEO of Klohn Crippen Berger.

The company has also formed a joint venture, IEG Consultants Ltd., with the Inuvialuit Development Corporation. IEG Consultants Ltd. offers engineering and environmental services in Northern Canada.

Klohn Crippen Berger's environmental services include permitting, baseline studies, impact/risk assessments, wildlife/fish/air/soil assessments, mitigation programs, mine waste management, mine site reclamation, contaminant evaluation/management, training, and skills transfer.
