Join us at the CDA Conference in Mississauga

We are proud to sponsor the CDA Conference and Exhibition, held this year in Mississauga, Ontario from October 3 – 8. We have several people participating in the conference. Neil Heidstra will be presenting his technical paper on “Bow Tie Methodology used during a Dam Safety Review” and Bruno Bagnérès will be presenting on “The Aeneas (Charlie) Irrigation Dam Rehabilitation Project - Case Study for a Sustainable Redevelopment on First Nation Land in British Columbia, Canada.” Harvey McLeod will be actively involved throughout the conference. Harvey will be joining the panel discussion on the “Implications of the Mount Polley Tailings Dam Failure”, participating in the Tailings Dam Breach Workshop and presenting at the ICOLD Update Session. Harvey is a geotechnical engineer with 40 years’ experience in all aspects of tailings dams. He has been active with the International Commission on Large Dams for 15 years and is currently Chairman of the Subcommittee on Tailings Dams. Harvey has been supporting the British Columbian Ministry of Energy and Mines with its inquiry into the Mount Polley Tailings Dam failure.
