Klohn Crippen Berger Awarded New project for Work on Little Bow Reservoir

March 22, 2011

We are pleased to announce that Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB) has been awarded a new Alberta Transportation project for the ‘Comprehensive Study for the Little Bow Reservoir Rehabilitation (LBR) and Related Works’. KCB will be conducting the environmental baseline and impact studies and assisting Alberta Transportation to advance the project through the CEAA Comprehensive Study Review Process. KCB had been working as the engineering consultant for the design and construction of the Little Bow Reservoir Structures Project since 2007. Our extensive experience with the LBR helped to secure the new project. The environmental impact assessment must address both the potential new impacts which may result from the proposed upgrading and rehabilitation of the Little Bow Reservoir, as well as the incremental changes to existing environmental impacts resulting from the revised operation and maintenance of the Little Bow Reservoir. The required studies and environmental impact statement preparation will be conducted over a nine month period from March to December 2011. Submission of the Comprehensive Study Report is scheduled for February 2012.
