Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB) is pleased to appoint Dan Etheredge, MBA, as the new Vice President, Latin America. With his strong client reputation for managing complex environmental and engineering projects across different regions and cultures, Dan will focus on identifying strategic opportunities to improve KCB’s positioning across Latin America.

Dan has managed KCB’s South American offices since 2007 and spearheaded several initiatives to increase the company’s regional presence, including opening an office in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in 2013, and satellite offices in Ecuador and Panama in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

Dan has over 30 years of environmental and engineering consulting experience, specializing in environmental assessment and remediation of mining and industrial sites, and regulatory approvals for mining operations, including mine closure planning.

Dan has worked across the Americas, and internationally, and managed projects that include mine closure planning at La Oroya Metallurgical Complex, Antamina, Cajamarquilla zinc refinery and La Pampilla petroleum refinery in Peru, and DNAPL remediation projects in California.

“I'm looking forward to the new challenges of the new role and feel grateful for the superior team of co-workers I am lucky enough to work with,” said Dan Etheredge.

“Dan has done an outstanding job over many years growing the South American operations of our mining and environmental group, and so I am excited for him on this thoroughly well-deserved appointment which will give Dan the opportunity to put his personal stamp on our operations. I am positive this appointment will lead to further growth, diversification and success and am looking forward to working together in the years ahead,” said Ryan Douglas, KCB President.
