Ryan Douglas, P.Eng. PE, Senior Civil Engineer, Power and Transportation Group Ryan Douglas has over 20 years of engineering design and project management experience on hydroelectric and other heavy civil infrastructure projects. Ryan is a civil-geotechnical engineer with broad knowledge of all the engineering and environmental services required to successfully deliver large infrastructure projects. Currently based in our Vancouver office, his experience includes projects in Canada, United States of America, South Africa, Central America, South America and Australasia.

Neil Singh, P.Eng. M.Eng, Regional Manager, British Columbia, Mining Environmental Group Since Neil joined KCB in 1988 he has held a number of positions and is currently serving as BC Regional Manager for the Mining Environmental Group. He has over twenty-five years of experience in geotechnical, geological and geophysical investigations with a focus on mining and water dams, construction, site characterization, forensic stability analysis and risk assessment.

Orlando Bravo, Civil Engineer, Manager Engineering Peru, Mining Environmental Group Orlando Bravo is a member of the Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú (Peruvian College of Engineers CIP 76351) and been part of the Klohn Crippen Berger family and our Lima office since 2000. Orlando has over 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering for mining and major infrastructure projects, road surface design, soil mechanics, quarry studies, as well as environmental studies.

Pamela Fines, P.Eng., M.A.Sc., Manager, Civil Projects, Edmonton Pamela Fines joined KCB in 2002 after completing her Master’s degree at the University of British Columbia. Pamela has 15 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer and project manager working on the design and construction of tailings dams and waste rock dumps for mining projects in Canada, Mongolia, the United States, Chile, Australia, the Philippines and Papua New Guinea. Pamela is now based in our Edmonton, Alberta, office applying her experience to both mining and Infrastructure assignments with a variety of clients throughout Western Canada.

Andrew Hovey, B.Sc., Manager, Water Resources, Mining Environmental Group Andrew Hovey has over 15 years of experience in hydrogeological investigations and groundwater impact assessments throughout North America and Oceania. He is a member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists and the Australasian Institute of Geosciences. Since joining KCB in 2008, Andrew has worked in our Brisbane and Vancouver offices focussing on client solutions to groundwater and environmental management issues in mining operations around the world.

Sarah McArthur, P.Geol., M.Sc., Groundwater Team Lead, Alberta Sarah McArthur joined KCB after graduating from Simon Fraser University with her M.Sc. in Earth Sciences (Hydrogeology) in 2006. Based in our Calgary office, Sarah is a senior hydrogeologist with over thirteen years of experience related to mine dewatering, aquifer characterization, groundwater management, contaminated soil and groundwater investigations, oil and gas exploration, and geological mapping. Sarah manages the groundwater team in our Oil & Gas and Mining group, specifically addressing assignments for oil sands mining clients.

Keith Viles, P.Eng., B.Eng. Manager Engineering Ontario, Mining Environmental Group Originally from Australia, Keith Viles joined KCB as a Senior Geotechnical Designer in 2007. Currently managing the engineering projects in our Sudbury office, Keith has over 14 years of experience performing geotechnical investigations and civil design for a broad range of projects within the residential, industrial, mining, civil and petrochemical industries.
