Robert joined KCB in 2009 as a Geological Engineer, working first in our Vancouver Office, before moving east to open our Toronto Office in 2012. Robert became an Associate in 2016.

He has a very broad range of experience, including work at all levels of design, construction, remediation, and rehabilitation for projects in the Transportation, Hydroelectric, and Mining sectors, including a host of geotechnical scopes such as: site characterization, slope stability of embankments and dams, ground hazard characterization, seismic hazard analysis, and liquefaction. With KCB, he has worked on projects across Canada, and around the world, including in Europe, Asia, Africa, and both North and South America.

Education

Robert has a B.A.Sc. and an M.Eng. in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and Professional Geoscientist in British Columbia and Ontario, and is a member of the Canadian Geotechnical Society.

Fun Fact

An avid photographer and world traveler, Robert will often be found dragging extra cameras and lenses along on field programs, and trying to tag mini-vacations into his work travel plans.
